I bought these shoes because it is closing in on the rainy season in Oregon and walking my dog Khloe takes me off of the sidewalk and into the bushes as she thinks that she is a hunter. These shoes are nice enough looking for and comfortable for daily wear. I wear a size 11 medium and it is accurate in size. My only complaint, which seems to be in all new high ankle support shoes that I own is that my left ankle rubs against the side even double socked. It seems to get less as the shoe is breaking in, but it it still there after a week. It is not severe, but it is noticeable, especially after an hour walk. I presume that I will not notice it in a month. The shoe walks straight with very little side give which means that it won't cause me to twist my ankle when stepping on rocks. It has only rained once since I got them but they gave good non slip support, even in the wet grass which surprised me. I definitely recommend these shoes, next Spring will be the true tale after a full Fall and Winter usage.

The shoes arrived promptly and they fit perfectly. I took them on a bike/hike trip days after purchase and they fit so well that there was little need to break them in.

Perhaps a hasty review as I just wore these shoes only twice this week, but so far so good.
I'm not an avid outdoorsman. Where I live we have free (for residents) state-sponsored hunts twice a year (although hunting in designated areas is allowed year-round for a fee) which is what I participate in. So for the most part I will be wearing these twice a year.
I was looking into getting new hunting footwear but didn't feel the need to get regular hunting boots, most of which are high-cut and waterproof. I live in a place where the climate is pretty temperate year-round and the hunting areas are relatively dry, so I wanted shoes that are breathable and not so high-cut but still have good stability in the ankles. These shoes fit the bill nicely. I wore it for one day at work to help break it in, but it was very comfortable from the get-go. For hunting I spent the day walking on terrain that varies from sharp lava rocks, larger round boulders and loose dirt, and the soles provide good traction, and the shoes overall are very light. (side note: yes, my entire day of "hunting" consisted of "walking". Chalk one up for the animals) .
Happy with my purchase so far.
