These boots are top notch, the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. The inner sole of the boots are made by Vibram and they are extremely comfortable. The stitching is solid. The outer soles are very thick with great grip on the bottoms. The strings are thick and high quality.
The only annoying thing about them is that the top 2 notches for the strings are the little arms that you have to wrap nudge the string through every time you put them on but I suppose that's typical of most boots and it's not that big of a deal. That's just the only thing I don't like about them so I wanted to add that to the review.
Wearing these almost feels like sneakers--that's how comfortable they are. The first time I wore them, my sister-in-law said, "Wow, those are really nice boots. I bet they were $180 or $200." And I said, "Nope, they were about $100 on Amazon." Trust me, my sis-in-law is no big fan of mine so for her to say that she had to have been very impressed by them. I like these so much I bought 2 colors, grey and red, and I may buy a black pair.
I bought these for the Midwest winters. Even if it doesn't snow a lot like the past few winters, it still gets cold enough that there is plenty of ice on the sidewalks and in the alley that I use to walk to work in the morning. Last year I fell several times on the ice and that's why I bought these and I'm expecting them to hold up for years to come--the quality is that good.
I recommend buying some water-proofer and spraying them as soon as you get them. I covered mine with 2 coats of it since I'm expecting to use them in the snow. Also, I have a dozen pairs of New Balance sneakers and casual shoes and I wear a 10.5 D in every pair. However, with these boots I recommend buying a size smaller than your typical New Balance shoes because they are made big like most boots are. The 9.5 D fits perfectly while still allowing wiggle room for my toes.
I highly, I highly recommend these. Very high quality. Perfect for winter or outdoor activities. A+ from me.

Used New Balance 11 4E running shoes for years on my actual-size 10 4E feet for a good fit. I purchased this boot at 11 1/2 4E and it fits well. I'm glad I went with the slightly larger size; the boot has room for the toes and for a thick sock. The shoe has a compact profile so it doesn't interfere with pedalling the bicycle. It's a VERY lightweight boot, and doesn't lace tightly, it's more of a PAC Boot than a hiking boot. The warmth is adequate cycling at 32 degrees with a medium weight sock. This is a good choice for winter cycling without clips.

Water resistant, Light weight and very comfortable. Never received a single blister. This is my second pair. Will be using these shoes on an Appalachain Trail through hike starting in May
